Zombie Attack Barbie

Barbie dolls have played a major role in the childhood of most North American girls, but they have arguably sent a negative message about body image and the materialistic need for an extensive wardrobe to impressionable youngins. Artist Sarah Anne Langton is trying to appeal to young girls’ interests through the Zombie Attack Barbie by sending a message for girls to brush up on their survival skills. Undead survival skills, that is. This poster design for the fake Zombie Attack Barbie advertises a doll that comes with a cute army beret, a one-piece camouflage body suit and matching bazooka, two dildos (wha?), grenades and more (mostly pink-clad zombie ass-kicking gear). Langton is a qualified astronaut and a part-time archaeologist, but clearly a full-time geek (as she so eloquently puts it herself on her official website bio).
