These CD’s resemble giant sequins beads after being sewn together on a 500 square meter background and draped over inflatable mounds. French artist, Elise Morin is the one to blame for this magnificent art installation in Paris’ Centquatre art space (which used to be a funeral home). Morin took 65,000 used CDs and repurposed them into glorious works of art. The exhibit will run in Paris until September 2011, and then will move onto other cities/countries before the CDs are recycled into polycarbonate.
