This suite at the Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa Rangali Island was once a restaurant, but now has been converted “to a private bedroom suite for two, complete with private champagne dinner and breakfast in bed.”
Located deeper than 16 meters into the Indian sea, the hotel (and previous restaurant) has curved acrylic walls that offers guests a 270-degree view of underwater life. Only five meters below the water surface, the space can be reached by a spiral staircase. The space is rumoured to be so bright during the daytime that guests and staff often wear sunglasses (staff keep spare sunglasses on hand on guests who aren’t prepared).
