You know those super cool photos of people or creatures under water? Well, this is even better. Thanks to a young female designer by the name of Han In Kyung, you can now take photographs of the underwater world while still maintaining a view of above water in the same frame (or, at least you could if this prototype was actually manufactured). This visual is a difficult one to achieve, but the Underabove Dual Lens Camera floats on the surface of the water and captures 2 scenes at ones. The Underabove follows the principle of buoyant force – thanks to its symmetrical body design and lightweight polypropylene materials, the camera floats easily while maintaining one camera lens in the water and one above. The LCD screen allows the udder to check both views (below and above the water surface) at the same time, and the camera is also equipped with a flash and self-timer function.
Han In Kyung was the recipient of the Red Dot “Best of the Best” design award for her Underabove Dual Lens Water Camera
