British daily national newspaper, The Times, has published a series of beautiful ads that depict a collision of eras – the old fused with the new – in honour of the Queens Jubilee. A present-day photo of Queen Elizabeth II is juxtaposed with an older photo of Prince Philip and Winston Churchill; while the final photo depicts a younger queen passing a crowd of modern-day children. Credit for this brilliant concept goose out to advertising agency CHI&Partners of London, UK, under the direction of Jon Burley and Alexei Berwitz. Rob Swainson and Dave Turfitt are responsible for the magnificent photo retouching. OVerall, a job well done, and a series of positively WHOA-worthy images.
