You super-geeks are going to wet your pants over this – you can now have an 18″ tall interactive R2-D2 Droid of your very own.
The freaks over at Purrfect Toys are selling this astromech droid unit that si ready to obey your commands. Get the droid’s attention by calling out “Hey, R2!” and get ready to play with your new robotic friend. There are over 40 programmed voice commands, and R2 is set up to answer some questions that everyone is dying to ask (like whether or not he remembers his famous friends, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO or Jabba the Hutt).
When in “game mode”, R2 plays games and spins, dances and plays music. He even comes with a built-in sentry alarm, perfect for guarding your bedroom from evil villains (or parents). R2 comes with a Command Guide to help you interact with him. Some of the commands that he responds to include “Follow Me” and “Come Here”, but you can also get R2 to do some cool stuff (like break out into spontaneous dance mode) by following the manual’s simple instructions.
This guy is no remote-control powered car. He will be a true friend to you (or your much more age-appropriate child).
