Kudos go out to Katalin Ivanka, Hungarian designer behind Ivanka Design Studio for coming up with this awesome Leather & Concrete Clutch and handbags design. The handbags were made in part by high-performance concrete – an experiment Ivanka conducted that couldn’t have gone more “right”. We love the juxtaposition between the notion of a feminine fashion accessory and the hard, industrial nature of the material used. The leather makes the clutch lighter and maintains the same colour as the concrete flap. Our favourite is the Concrete Genezis NR4/1 – the pitted concrete texture is beyond fabulous – it’s badass.
