Sculptures Made From Heavy Chains

 
 
 










Korean artist Seo Young Deok has created a series of nudge sculptures constructed entirely out of lengths of chain. The artist uses medium-gauge household chains and bicycle chainrs to create incredibly beautiful and realistic human forms. The reflection of the chain material is evocative of the traditional sculptural medium of bronze, and yet the chain provides the sculptures with such a distinct and tactile texture that invites touch.
