Zhan Wang is a Beijing-based artist who is responsible for sculpting this San Francisco cityscape out of pots, pans, graters and other kitchenwares. This piece of work is entitled “On Gold Mountain” and was featured at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. It has received a lot of publicity because of the accurate depiction of the city by means of creative methods and materials. The artist has even included trolley tracks made out of metal chopsticks. Wang is one of the most highly respected Chinese artists best known for his sculptural works of art.
