Willem van Renburg is an inventor who has recently come up with a new design for condoms to make them easier and faster to apply. The faster application process could make the difference between a couple using protection and not. The new condom design has been coined the “Pronto” and can be applied using a special foil applicator in under 4 seconds. van Renburg received financial assistance from Metropolitan Life Ltd. for the initial development phase and with the help of several technology suppliers.
