We love the idea behind the Projecteo – a mini-projector that will allow instagram-obsessed users to share their photos with others without having to pass around their tablet devices. We stumbled across Projecteo on Kickstarter, and at the time, the company had garnered 2,000+ backers who provided $65,000+ of funding to produce Projecteo. UK-based innovator and designer, Benjamin Redford, requested $18,000 on Kickstarter in order to fund the process of turning Instagrams into wheels of single frame 35mm slide film (that hold 9 photos) that can later be used in the mini-projector for screening. The idea is brilliant, really, and sharing photos on the wall of your super-cool condo, loft or restaurant sounds great and viewing your images larger should be lots of fun. Unlike screens, slide film doesn’t have pixels, so it’s possible to get large format images from the Projecteo that still look clean and sharp (during testing, the Projecteo team was able to project images up to two and a half feet wide). But size is not important (or so may like to believe), what matters is that there is no shortage of interesting toys being made for Instagram-sharing, and this sweet Projecteo is no exception.
