Peter Rolfe is a master of wood furniture design and construction, and this collection of drawer pieces moulded in the likeness of seductive female forms is proof. Rolfe’s suggestive mannequin-esque forms offer concealed storage in the chest, breast and bum areas – a playful design concept that brought chuckles to most viewers, and sneers to others. Despite the fact that Rolfe has been criticized for having a sexist approach to his work, it’s undeniable that his workmanship and careful attention to detail makes him a noteworthy carpenter.
