Massive Mona Lisa Coffee Cup Art

Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous painting, “La Giaconda” (commonly referred to as the Mona Lisa) has been recreated using 3,604 cups of coffee and 564 pints of milk. Each cup is filled with varying amounts of coffee and milk in order to achieve the tonal changes necessary to depict depth and shape. The work of art measures 20 feet x 13 feet (6m x 3m) and was created for the Rocks Aroma Festival in Sydney, Australia. We can’t decided whether Da Vinci would be proud or roll in his grave…either way, this work of art made us say WHOA!
