The iStation is a desktop stand for the iPad or iPad2 that is made to resemble the original Apple I and Apple II computer designs. While we think the designers at M.I.C. have taken some liberties with the original design (it’s not exact, we know, we know), we think this unit is still super cool and makes any iPad a workable desktop with a cute retro flare. The iStation allows you to play music through a built-in speaker system, and the keyboard has an on/off function if you aren’t planning to use it. The keyboard functions with all of Apple’s short cut functions, and can be removed from the iStation base and functions with a blue tooth connection to be used as a wireless keyboard. The iStation is available in two colours – classic matte Apple white, or retro wood grain.
