A dog doesn’t have to look like just a dog anymore thanks to the latest rage of dyeing pets to resemble wild animals in China. The Chow Chow dog makes for a great-looking panda bear when dyed white and black, while other pups are dyed to resemble other exotic beasts, like tigers. We have no idea why this has become a fad, and hope that the fur dye is not harmful to the animals, but we can’t be sure. We are going to blissfully pretend that the dogs like to “dress up” as other animals for a change, and focus on the fact that maybe, just *maybe* this is something the dogs want.

Poor dogs. The last one isn’t from China either, you can read “PetSmart” on the leash!
when are the Chinese ever going to learn? Don’t play with your food.
