Artist Judith Ann Braun uses her fingers to create stunning murals. With nothing more than graphite dust and her own finger tips, Braun is able to create works of art within the Fingerlings series that have an intense sense of motion and texture. Her abstract works are particularly intriguing, but the artistry behind her landscape works is equally impressive. In Braun’s artists statement, she states: [The Fingerlings works allow me to] continue my use of carbon medium by dipping my fingers in charcoal to draw directly on the wall, sometimes with both hands simultaneously to the extent of my arm’s reach. This allows the inherent symmetry of the body to generate a gestural vocabulary of mark making”. Using conventional art tools to create imagery is difficult enough, but Braun’s finger paintings seem to convey an effortless beauty and ghostly effect that made us say, “WHOA!”

Just about all of whatever you mention happens to be astonishingly legitimate and that makes me ponder why I hadn’t looked at this with this light previously. This particular article truly did switch the light on for me as far as this particular subject goes. But at this time there is actually one particular issue I am not necessarily too comfy with and while I make an effort to reconcile that with the actual central idea of the position, let me observe just what the rest of the visitors have to point out.Very well done.
