Japanese artist, Rie Hosokai designs amazing high fashion gowns made entirely out of balloons. The dresses have a beautiful sense of movement and flow, while the sleek nature of the stretched latex balloon lends itself to a texture that is reminiscent of vinyl or plastic, but painfully delicate. One false move and POP! We love the models flaunting the beautiful works by Hosokai (probably because the photography by Takashi Kawada is so well done) – it makes us want balloon dresses of our own.
