Gothic Typeface Made Out Of Bacon Strips
One of our favourite mixed media artists, Henry Hargreaves, has created and photographed the entire alphabet made out of raw bacon strips rendering in Old English Font with prop stylist, Sarah Guido. Guido and Hargreaves completed the photoshoot over the course of two afternoons. 15 pounds of bacon was used (harmed) for the project.
Hargreaves began his career in the arts as a model in front of the camera, as a self-proclaimed “pin-up boy for revered fashion houses as Prada, YSL, Jil Sander, Lacoste” working with the top photographers in the game. Four years ago, he settled in New York and built a studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He now practices photography full time, specializing in still life and fashion photography.
