Illustrator extraordinaire, Dave Rapoza, has created these terrifying zombie-like renditions of the beloved 90′s cartoon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The “hardcore” turtles, as they are affectionately dubbed on CG Hub, appear amazingly realistic with careful attention paid to the texture and detailing of the skin. The dead zombie eyes through us off a little, but what we do we know about hardcore turtles? Perhaps the only way to be a hardcore turtle, is to lose one’s pupils and be dead in the eyes? Either way, these CG works are awesome.
