Jason Freeny of Moist Production likes to put an anatomical spin on iconic toys and characters by imagining what kind of innards our favourite characters might have. Then, he sculpts a mini version of his imaginings for the world to enjoy, and boy, do we ever! Freeny studied industrial design at the Pratt Institute in New York and spent most of the 90s traveling the world as a muralist and theatrical designer. In 1997, Freeny joined MTV’s special events department as a freelance designer.
The characters including Lego Man, Mickey Mouse, Hello Kitty, Nemo, Care Bears, Super Mario and more feature “anatomically-correct” cross sections and we’re thankful for that. After all, we’ve always wondered what lego-man’s skeleton looks like.
