Paris-based Russian artist Dimitri Tsykalov makes cool stuff from food, like these anatomically themed sculptures made from cold cut meats, sausage wieners, prawns, lettuce, rice paper, cauliflower, carrots and more. You may remember a post we previously shared featuring Tsykalov’s skull sculptures made from carved fruit and veggies that were a big hit in the WHOA! community, and we think these just might be too. We cannot help but be a little weirded out by the resemblance cold cut meats bear to human flesh, but maybe that was exactly the point? The soft, plyable deli slices make the sculpture of a head look like a skinned human – weird, and yet amazingly delightful to think the work of art was made entirely out of edible products.
