Greek visual designer and illustrator, Charis Tsevis, is the artistic mind behind the Tsevis Visual Design (TVD) studio and responsible for these wonderful mosaic photos. A photographic mosaic is a large image that was composed by thousands of smaller images. The colours and shapes of the smaller images work together to suggest a form or image that the human eye recognizes as a whole. In this case, Tsevis has used small symbols and graphics to compose images of celebrities and famous media characters for editorial clients. Some of our favourites include portraits of Dr. Gregory House of House MD played by Hugh Laurie for TV Guide; Steve Jobs for Discover Magazine; Michelle Obama for Hemispheres magazine; Andy Warhol for Village Voice; Shama Kabani (a.k.a. social media guru and author of the book “The Zen of Social Media Marketing”) for Exhibitor magazine; Amy Winehouse for Evening Standard magazine; Florence Welch of band Florence and the Machine for Evening Standard magazine, Usaind Bolt for Gatorade Evoluciona and more. You can see more of Charis Tsevis’ incredible works on his Behance profile.
