Cool Pixelated Flower Vases

Pixelated “stuff” seems to be a growing trend, and we have never turned down a cool set of 8-bit works of art, jewelry and more, so why stop now? These awesome vases were made by London-based artist Julian F. Bond and his Pixel Machine. What is a Pixel Machine?! you ask? It’s a device that is designed to create a mould for the production of a vessel (in Bond’s case, a vase or a shallow dish). Hundreds of plaster sticks can be adjusted by hand to create a custom mould. Once the mould is ready, plaster is poured in, cured, and voila! An incredibly unique and geeky aesthetic is born. We love that Bond designed the Pixel Machine in order to make pixelated things – we love pixelated things, and you should too. Bond offers customized pixel moulds so you can come up with your very own colour and size.
