The USB Typewriter Computer Keyboard features an actualy antique typewriter that has been modified to work as a USB keyboard for PC, Mac and even the iPad. The typewriter is a Royal Aristocrat (c. 1945) and features all letters, numerals and punctuation marks, and it also includes a shift, space and return/Enter (which is activated by the typewriter’s original return carriage…too cool!).

If you have a nostalgia for the old world, this typewriter would be perfect for you. We love the idea of seamlessly fusing the old with the new, and the best part, is that the typewriter still works on paper if you choose to load the cartridge because the modification from typewriter to USB format does not affect the functionality of the device itself. AND, the bonus, is that your keystrokes that you’ve recorded on paper (old-school style) will be transcribed onto your computer in soft copy format. We are smitten. Absolutely whoa-worthy stuff here, people!
