THE BOOK

IKEA has become the go-to store for budget furnishings that are super cool on account of their sleek, Scandinavian design aesthetic and unique product names. IKEA is always coming out with fabulous products and this recipe book is no exception. The “Homemade is Best” recipe book was meant to strengthen the connection between IKEA’s kitchen appliances and the process of baking – two things that IKEA believes go hand in hand. But, IKEA couldn’t possibly produce just another baking book, no way. IKEA hired the talented team at Forsman & Bodenfors to present the recipes in a unique fashion – a baking book layout that is arguably more like an art book than a “how-to” guide complete with 30 classic swedish baking recipes laid out with all the ingredients in a still-life composition followed by the final product on the next page.

The baking book contains 30 classic swedish baking recipes everything from small biscuits to large cakes.
