Italian photographer Niccolo Bonfadini is responsible for capturing these moments that were frozen in time – literally – in the Article Circle. The fluffly-looking ghostly creatures are actually snow-covered trees that have been completely covered by the snow and frost that is typical in the region. Bonafadini loves to travel to remote places and photograph the subjects that Nature has to offer. We love these photos because they remind us of what it’s like to stare at the clouds until shapes emerge – sometimes we have to do a double take (*wait…is that a snow-covered Hobbit or another tree?). Fun fun fun.
