You’ve heard of inhalers for asthma patients? Well, now there’s an inhaler for caffeine addicts. The Aeroshot was invented by David Edwards, a creator, writer and professor at Harvard University. Aeroshot delivers an airborne shot of instant energy – a quick and easy fix of caffeine that is ready for consumption any time and any place. To ingest the contents, users simply pull open the green end of the canister and put the opposite end in their mouths and gently puff in. Users can control how many puff to ingest at one time (a total of 6-8 puffs) , and can close the canister and save the rest for later. The canister contains a fine powder that dissolves instantly in users’ mouths. One canister contains 100mg of caffeine – the same amount of caffeine as a large cup of coffee, but without any calories.
In 2009, David Edwards and Tom Hadfield founded the company, Breathable Foods – a nutritional company that develops novel aerosol products that deliver unique food and healthcare benefits.
