Today we are celebrating Woody, owner of Woody6Stitch Etsy shop for upcycling these old Nintendo NES consoles into cool new things. First on the docket is the Nintendo NES Shoulder Bag. The innards of the console have been removed and the interior is lined with fabric to provide soft storage space. The bag comes with an adjustable shoulder strap that is reinforced from the inside (extra durability, yay!).
The Nintendo NES Briefcase is very similar to the shoulder bag (complete with interior fabric lining and reinforced opening latches), but instead of an adjustable shoulder strap, the briefcase comes with a sturdy handle. Both consoles feature a functional game door – perfect for dropping something into the bag without having to undo the hinges. Plus, the bottom of both NES consoles come with a concealed storage area for valuables.
We think these Nintendo NES carryalls are so very kitschy-chic, we’d just have to have one! A great upcycle project rarely goes unnoticed by the WHOA! team – we hope you like these geektastic fashionable accessories as much as we do.
