Aside from the fact that this post is a gross generalization, it’s also likely to be true for some A-list celebrities who make piles and piles of cash. If you’ve often wondered how they can possibly spend what they are making, this chart compiled by the New York magazine attempts to shed some light. The data was provided by a high-level Hollywood money manager who has many A-List clients, few of whom live within their means. As you’ll notice after analyzing some of the nicely formatted data, this particular A-lister (who shall remain unnamed) has spent far more than he/she has earned. The money manager claims that the worst scenario possible when it comes to spending copious amounts of money, is CASH money. It’s easy to lose track of cash spent, which is why he recommends clients use credit cards to help keep track of expenses. Strange and sad, but wildly intriguing, wouldn’t you agree?
